OBJECTIF
Explorer des thèmes et des ressources en art en langue anglaise pour développer sa pratique de l'écrit et de l'oral. Se familiariser avec des écrits d'artistes ou des écrits théoriques, appréhender différentes ressources en anglais (vidéos, textes, images). Développer un projet artistique en lien avec le thème étudié en développant sa capacité à le présenter et le partager en anglais.

CONTENU 
Au premier semestre : Reading / Writing In this workshop in English, we will work in small groups on artists' texts, critical texts in art and design. Each group of students will be assigned a theme and will be asked to produce an audio document and a booklet at the end of the semester based on different resources read, seen and discussed in class. We will alternate work sessions together and occasional sessions in the documentation center. It will be a matter of reading, understanding, thinking and creating together from various textual resources.
Au second semestre : Staging / watching In the second semester, students will work in small groups to reflect on scenography and scenic design. We will probably work on one or two performing art shows and learn how to do a choral analysis. The different groups will then be invited to work on their own scenographic project (based on theater, circus or dance) and we will share a methodology for feedback on the work of others: how to give constructive and benevolent feedback ?

MÉTHODE
Travail en petits groupes, discussions, échanges.

DÉROULÉ PÉDAGOGIQUE
Après une présentation générale les étudiant·e·s seront invité·es à collaborer en petits groupes avec des moments de mise en commun réguliers.

ÉVALUATION 
Contrôle continu (assiduité, participation), projet de fin de semestre.

SAVOIR-FAIRES attendus à l'issue du cours
Mieux s'exprimer en anglais, être en capacité de lire un texte, analyser une oeuvre et restituer ses idées à l'écrit et/ou à l'oral.
